Dr John Thorsell Itriago is a medical doctor (MD) with more than 20 years of experience working in orthopaedics. After earning his medical degree in Venezuela (2000), he worked in a range of settings, including the Army, remote communities in the Amazon and offshore oil rigs. He has worked in orthopaedics in Australia since 2005 and now focuses on Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and PRP + Hyaluronic Acid (HA) injections for joint and tendon conditions. These treatments aim to reduce inflammation, leading to pain reduction, and for some patients may help to avoid surgery.

Dr John takes the time to assess each patient, explain the options and set realistic expectations before any treatment is offered.
